Licensing & Registration

Philibert Security performs alarm and low-voltage work under the licenses and registrations required in the jurisdictions we serve:

Missouri — alarm installation and low-voltage wiring are licensed and permitted at the municipal and county level; Philibert Security maintains the contractor licenses and permits required by the St. Louis-area jurisdictions in which it operates.

Central Station Monitoring

Monitored accounts are served by a UL-Listed central monitoring station operating to the applicable UL and industry standards for alarm receiving and dispatch. Specific monitoring terms, response procedures, and standards are set out in your Installation and Monitoring Agreement.

Alarm Permits & False-Alarm Ordinances

Many municipalities in Missouri and Illinois require a registered alarm permit and assess fees for excessive false alarms. Securing and maintaining any required permit, and paying any municipal false-alarm fees, is the responsibility of the property owner or occupant.

A security system is designed to reduce the risk of loss but cannot guarantee prevention of burglary, fire, or other incidents, and is not a substitute for insurance. Charges for our services are based on the value of the services provided, not on the value of your property. Our liability is limited as set forth in your signed service agreement. We recommend that all customers maintain appropriate property, casualty, and liability insurance.
