These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website and online services of Philibert Security Systems, Inc. (“Philibert Security,” “we,” “us”). By using this site or paying an invoice online, you agree to these Terms.

Your Service Agreement Controls

These Terms cover this website only. The installation, service, and central-station monitoring we provide are governed by the separate written Installation and Monitoring Agreement you sign with us. Nothing on this website amends, replaces, or waives any term of that agreement. If anything here conflicts with your signed agreement, your signed agreement controls for the security services it covers.

Use of This Website

You may use this site for lawful purposes related to your interest in or account with Philibert Security. You agree not to attempt to disrupt, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems, and not to use it in any way that could harm us or other users.

Online Bill Payment

  • By submitting a payment, you represent that you are authorized to use the card presented and that the information you provide is accurate.
  • Payments are processed by our third-party processor, Authorize.Net; your card details are handled by that processor and are not stored on our servers.
  • An online payment applies to the invoice or balance you specify. It does not by itself modify, renew, cancel, or otherwise change any obligation under your service agreement.
  • We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. American Express is not accepted.
  • If a payment is declined, reversed, or charged back, your balance remains due and any related account terms continue to apply.
A security system reduces risk — it does not guarantee prevention.

No alarm or monitoring system can guarantee that a burglary, fire, medical emergency, or other loss will be prevented or that emergency services will always respond in time. You accept this inherent limitation, and you should maintain adequate insurance in addition to your security system.

Alarm Response & Third Parties

Alarm verification and dispatch depend on our UL-listed central station and on police, fire, and EMS agencies we do not control. Response times are not guaranteed and may be affected by communication paths, weather, network conditions, jurisdiction policies, and false-alarm ordinances. To help your system perform as intended, you are responsible for keeping your emergency contact list and passcodes current and for testing your system regularly.

False Alarms & Permits

Many St. Louis-area jurisdictions in Missouri and Illinois require an alarm permit and impose fees for excessive false alarms. Obtaining and maintaining any required permit, and paying any municipal false-alarm fines, is the customer’s responsibility.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, this website is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from its use. Our liability for the security services themselves is defined by the limitation-of-liability and liquidated-damages provisions of your signed service agreement, which you should review.

Intellectual Property

The content, design, logos, and materials on this site are owned by Philibert Security or its licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse them without our permission.

Third-Party Trademarks

Product and brand names referenced on this site (such as equipment manufacturers) are trademarks of their respective owners and are used for identification only. Their use does not imply endorsement.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
